Hoping to offer ASHA CEU's at your next event?
Asha's cooperative course offering is a collaboration between an ASHA Approved CE Provider and a non-ASHA provider to deliver continuing education for ASHA CEUs. These courses are subject to specific rules and fees, and PSHA, as the ASHA Approved provider, is responsible for ensuring the course meets ASHA standards and managing registration and reporting. The content must focus on audiology or speech-language pathology, reflect best practices, and be relevant to the audience.
-
Provider partnership:
A non-ASHA organization partners with PSHA, an ASHA Approved CE Provider, to plan and offer a course.
-
Fee requirement:
A cooperative fee is required for each offering, which is paid by to ASHA upon PSHA's registering of the course.
-
Content and standards:
The ASHA Approved Provider is responsible for ensuring the course content meets ASHA's standards for quality, validity, and relevance.
-
Registration:
The course is registered through the ASHA CE Provider Portal, where the cooperative relationship is indicated.
-
Reporting:
The cooperative organization provides learner information to the ASHA Approved Provider, who then submits post-course materials and attendance records to ASHA within the required deadlines
