RESEARCH PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES POLICY


This opportunity is for PSHA members only.  Nonmembers are not permitted to solicit research survey opportunities through our online platforms.

Purposes: 

--To advance the scholarly mission of PSHA with visible support for research efforts. 

--To provide scholars with opportunities to secure participants in their research studies. 

--To provide PSHA members with opportunities to participate in applied research. 

--To enhance the public relations focus of PSHA with support of scholars nationwide. 

--To disseminate research-related information without excessive e-mail contact with PSHA members. 


Research Opportunities:

PSHA is pleased to inform members of this/these opportunity/opportunities to participate in research. An overview of the purpose of the research, the requirements for the participants, and the contact information for the author(s) is included for the study/each of the studies. Please note that the authors have secured the appropriate approvals from Institutional Research Boards (IRBs) and other relevant entities for the conduct of their studies. PSHA supports scholarly work to advance our informational base about normal and non-normal communication, as well as clinical service delivery issues.

Acceptance of Notices

STEP 01. The authors of the studies must be active members of PSHA and complete the online form with the above required information.  IRB approval must be uploaded with the form submission.  

STEP 02. Upon receipt of the documentation related to the IRB approval and above information for dissemination, the Executive Director will distribute the appeal for participation in the approved format (see below).
